"Smart, funny and totally relatable." - Gail Vaz-Oxlade.

The personal finance book Canada is talking about. With personal savings lower than ever before and household debt going through the roof, many people are in dire need of financial advice. But can a book that includes sex, zombies, and Star Trek really help? You might be surprised. Wealthing Like Rabbits is a sharp, entertaining guide to personal finance that proves sound money management doesn't have to be painful and neither does learning about it. Combining a unique blend of humour and perspective with common sense, Robert R. Brown takes you through the basics of financial planning by using anecdotes and pop culture to shed light on some of the most important, yet often mismanaged aspects of personal finance. Covering subjects ranging from retirement savings and mortgages to credit cards and debt, this book will help you balance your life goals with your financial responsibilities. Wealthing Like Rabbits is a smart, accessible, never-boring romp through personal finance that you will count as one of your best investments ever. Visit the website at www.wealthinglikerabbits.com

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great beginners book! This is an excellent book for an introduction to personal finance! It was an easy read and the author has explained the concepts in a way that was easily understood. I wish I had ready this book a couple years earlier so I could have started my financially planning sooner!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's actually a gripping read! Go figure! I never thought a personal finance book would be hard to put down but this one is. It made me laugh out loud several times and it's an easy read that has a very important message. Excellent advice for young adults. I really hope to see a "sequel" for the 40-something crowd!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not just for Millennials! Sure, buy this book for your millennial kids or friends to get them started on the path to prosperity and wealth. Buy another copy for yourself to correct any money mistakes you have made in the past, any mistakes you are currently making, or to prevent any future 'mistakes' you plan on making! This book was entertaining to read not for the sake of entertainment only but was a fun enough read so that those who happen to start it will make it to the end of the book, but more importantly, put these principles into practice!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Book for Beginners to Finance A very amusing look at the work of personal finance. Lays out the basics of saving, using credit cards and a great look at mortgages. Recommend it for Millennials and those too scared to take action.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from WOW! A fantastic, hilarious, and knowledgeable book on finance. Rob does an exquisite job explaining everything from RRSP's to mortgages. Instead of a snobby financial guru, Rob feels more like a supportive (and disciplined!) friend helping you save your money! Hands down the best book I have read and even recommended to several coworkers. You will not go wrong!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally!! A book that taught me how to be an adult! I absolutely flew through Wealthing Like Rabbits. I have a ton of schooling behind me but I have never taken a finance course! At the tender age of 32, I felt it was time to learn things, I feel like I always should have known, but no one ever mentioned to me. I am a design major and teacher, but it was my budding career as a real estate agent that required I learned more about the world of personal finance and I am so happy this is the book I picked up for my introduction to this world. I am now reading it for the second time, to make sure I apply what I learned. It is Robert Brown's style of writing which makes what always seemed complicated and scarey to me, clear, understandable and best of all applicable! Excellent read for anyone who (like myself) needs some crash course material on "Wealthing". Please pick up a copy for yourself and anyone else who could use this valuable information. I know I will be buying a few copies this year for my siblings!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from An Easy Read! A fun read, that ingrains good financial thinking into you. However I don't like the focus on RRSPs index funds since they are not as good for lower income millennials. Should have some focus on TFSA.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from EXCELLENT starter finance book A must read for millennials - Rob writes in an engaging and cogent style that has you immediately hooked. But more than that, he breaks down complex content and essential terms in ways even the most finance-ignorant (aka me) can understand. Definitely a book I will return to as I make important financial decisions in my life!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A must read! I would love to see this book in the hands of all teens and young adults.I would even go as far as to say it should be part of our educational curriculum. We may never use an isosceles triangle beyond post secondary school but, all will be involved with our own personal finances. This book not only makes the learning process fun and entertaining but, following the advice it contains will go a long way to ensuring a sound financial future.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy and fun! I'm by no means a financial wizard but this made it super easy and fun for me to understand things that I honestly had shy'd away from in the past because they were beyond my realm of comprehension. Being at the age now that I need to really take my finances in control and plan for my future, this book made things that were previously very scary to me not so scary at all. Great read and very useful for anyone who may be like me a little apprehensive when it comes to personal finance. I think this would be a great book for young people to read. I wish I had it when I was a teenager. I feel like I would be a LOT further ahead.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Book! I read this book a month or so ago and absolutely loved it. I have recently turned 30 and realized that I knew nothing about organizing my finances. "Wealthing" was the perfect introduction to personal finance and showed me many little and big things I can do to help myself along. I highly recommend this book to anyone who may need help with finances or even aficionados who would like a good laugh mixed in with some good advice!
