What is Contactless Curbside Pickup?

Contactless Curbside Pickup is a way for customers to shop online, and pick up their orders in as little as 3 hours while offering customers a contactless experience that provides the strictest physical distancing with zero contact.

It allows us to maintain safety measures with our customers while connecting with them to provide the best of our product offering and thoughtful gifting needs, while maintaining safety measures.

Will all stores offer Contactless Curbside Pickup?

No, at this time only select stores in certain regions will be offering Contactless Curbside Pickup. It’s important to be able to maintain physical distancing standards, so only those stores located in provinces that permit curbside pickup and that can provide Contactless Curbside Pickup in parking lots/spaces will be enabled for the program. We’ll do our best to you keep you updated on new stores offering Contactless Curbside Pickup via email and indigo.ca.

When is Contactless Curbside Pickup available?

Contactless Curbside Pickup is available on a per-store basis, and our store operating hours can be found on our store locator page.

What products are eligible for Contactless Curbside Pickup?

We’ll offer the best of our online and in-store product assortment, subject to inventory availability, item size and weight. The item page will indicate if that item is eligible and when it’s available for Pickup in Store.

Are there any additional costs for Contactless Curbside Pickup?

No. When you choose Pickup in Store in your cart and proceed to checkout, you’ll only pay the online prices for your item (plus applicable taxes). There are no additional fees, and no shipping charges.

How do I place my order?

Select your store at indigo.ca or the Indigo app.

If browsing for items, the item details page will indicate if your item is available for Pickup in Store and when it’s available.

If searching for an item, select the FREE PICKUP TODAY filter and you’ll see only those items that have inventory currently available at your store.

Continue to add all your desired items to your cart.

During checkout, confirm your delivery address or click Edit to change.

To change from “Ship to an address” to “Pick up free in store”, go back to your cart and update your pickup store location.

If searching for an item, select the FREE PICKUP TODAY filter and you’ll see only those items that have inventory currently available at your store.

Proceed to payment and place your order. You’ll receive an order confirmation email shortly, confirming your order details. Once your order is ready to be picked up, we’ll send you another email with pickup instructions, including the link to our Contactless Curbside Pickup landing page, where you can find your store’s dedicated curbside pickup location.
When will my Contactless Curbside Pickup order be ready?

If your items are in stock in store, we’ll have your order ready for pickup in as little as 3 hours, subject to operating hours and given available capacity in stores.

If your item is not in stock in your store, but available in one of our distribution centres, we’ll ship it to your store, and have it ready for pickup within 3-7 days, subject to item availability and transit times.

How will I know when my Contactless Curbside Pickup order is ready for pickup?

Once your order is available for pickup, you’ll receive an email indicating “Your Order is Ready for Pickup” with pickup details, including the link to our Contactless Curbside Pickup landing page, where you can find your store’s designated curbside pickup location.

Once at the store, where do I go to pick up my Contactless Curbside Pickup order?

We ask that you safely park in a designated parking spot as indicated on our Contactless Curbside landing page. If you’re arriving on foot, please remain outside the entrance of our store, then call us at the store phone number provided through the Curbside landing page.

How will you maintain social distancing and safety protocols in-store and with customers?

Our staff are our top priority and we’re staying in close contact with health authorities to enact enhanced safety protocols, including limited staffing in stores to maintain physical distancing, providing PPE to all of our staff, frequent disinfecting/sanitization of common surfaces in store, and increased hand washing.

For Contactless Curbside Pickup orders, to maintain the safety of our customers and community, we’re asking customers to remain in their vehicles and open their trunk. If customers are on foot, they should meet us at the entrance to our store and we’ll be happy to bring their order out to them.

We’re continually reassessing these measures in consultation with the health authorities

Do you have requirements regarding which kind of masks are accepted in-store?

In line with regional and provincial requirements, and in consultation with medical professionals, in-store customers must wear non-medical disposable masks or cloth masks that are made of a tightly woven fabric material, that completely and comfortably covers the nose, mouth and chin. We offer disposable masks for those who would like to enter the store and don’t have a mask with them.
