Reviews

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Elmo Says... (Sesame Street) by Sarah Albee (Goodreads Author), Tom Leigh (Illustrator) Measuring about 5.5" x 4.5", this board book can be grasped by babies as young as 9 months. Elmo and his friends play a "Elmo Says..." version of Simon Says. Activities such as touching your nose, driving a car, and pretending to sleep are suggested. The actions are simple and can be very effective when a parent helps their child do each action. The pictures are bright and colorful, attracting even babies' attention. Depicted in primary colors against a solid yellow background, bright Sesame Street characters with bulging eyes dominate the perspective of each page. This book can help build early literacy skills like print awareness as well as helping teach children how to follow directions and even how to find their nose! A fun, active read that little ones will return to again and again. Highly recommended for public libraries.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Took some time but son now loves it We have had this book for the past few months & our son wasn't very interested, but he's been choosing it every day recently. He's almost 7 months now. It's a boring read for us though, so I'm selfishly hoping this is just a phase

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Daughter Asks for it Every Day This is definitely in my top ten list of books for toddlers. My daughters asks for it every day, and loves to do the actions along with the characters. With colourful pictures and a rhyming narrative, it's sure to be a hit with the little ones!
