New York Times and USA Today Bestseller

Virginity.

Bliss Edwards is about to graduate from college and still has hers. Sick of being the only virgin among her friends, she decides the best way to deal with the problem is to lose it as quickly and simply as possible—a one-night stand. But her plan turns out to be anything but simple when she freaks out and leaves a gorgeous guy alone and naked in her bed with an excuse that no one with half a brain would ever believe.

And as if that weren't embarrassing enough, when she arrives for her first class of her last college semester, she recognizes her new theater professor.

She'd left him naked in her bed about eight hours earlier. . . .

Cora Carmack is a twentysomething New York Times bestselling author who likes to write about twentysomething characters. Raised in a small Texas town, she now lives in New York City and spends her time writing, traveling, and marathoning various television shows on Netflix.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hilarious and Sweet I found this book by accident but I'm so glad I did. It was sweet and romantic and really funny and awkward. Garrett and Bliss are just a perfect pair and the misadventures they go through are hilarious. I cringed and I laughed and I loved their romance. Highly recommend.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Losing It I have avoided romance novels for as long as I can remember because I found them cheezy and unrealistic. This book was cheezy and unrealistic at times but the awkwardness of the main character Bliss had me smiling and laughing throughout. The ending was sappy but I loved it. I just finished Faking It and enjoyed it even more.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Funny and romantic! Such a fascinating and humorous book. You can't stop turning the pages to see where Bliss will go next with her funny and heartwarming journey. Cora Carmack is one of my new favourite authors. There where so many things I loved about this book. I loved the completely relatable protagonist, Bliss Edwards. She is so very awkward and I think that's what I loved about her. She was very relevant to today's society, although I don't think I've ever met someone over 21 who is not a virgin. I thought it was cute that she was a virgin and it was nice that her first would be her last. I loved Kelsey as how she was a party girl, the complete opposite of Bliss, and was all to pleased to discover she gets a book, Finding It. On to Garrick. I loved him. He is now officially part of my list of book boyfriends. I love him because of his accent, and kindness, and romantic side... there where just so many amazing things about him that I would love to just name off on a list. He was smart, funny, romantic, sweet, patient. One of the best parts of him is when Bliss would try to have sex with him, he would always make sure this was exactly what she wanted. He was just so sweet. This book made me laugh from page to page and it is one of the few books that I laughed out loud while reading. It made me squrim in my seat when awkward things happened to Bliss. It was entertaining seeing how unfortunate Bliss was. She went outside in her bra and panties, she got mono, came up with horrible excuses that caused her many more problems then she needed. Oh yeah, and she tried to have sex with a guy that turned out to be her teacher. I like this cover lots, but I prefer the old one, where you can see his face because with his face I can kind of imagine what he would look like. With this, I don't like how I can see her face, but not his. But I do love the format of the cover, the font and the sizing of the words. If you love romance, humor, and the fast growing genre, New Adult, then you'll love this. Rating: 7.7/10 Parental Rating: 16+

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Review from Esther's Ever After Confession: I had no intention of reading Losing It, and it just so happened that fate stepped in. And by fate, I mean I was gifted a copy from HCC at their Fall Preview Event for bloggers, when they surprised us with a guest appearance from Cora Carmack to sign copies of Losing It for all of us! And after meeting Cora (I should also add here that I've talked to her before through blogging!) I decided I'd give my first New Adult book a whirl. And you know what? I liked it. Losing It is my favourite of the series, because I love the sense of humour that Cora writes so well. I can absolutely relate to Bliss and her many awkward moments, and her confusion and fear associated with growing up and taking on more responsibility. This is the kind of NA book I'm happy to read - yes, there's romance and a strong emphasis on it. But the romance isn't overpowering nor does it detract from the rest of the story. There are messy, crazy moments that Bliss has to learn to navigate and it doesn't always work out ideally. Review copy received from HarperCollins Canada; no other compensation was received.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Book I really liked this book. it took me on an emotional roller coaster as they fought their feelings for each other. in the end love prevailed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Book I gave this book a 4-5 stars because I did really enjoy it. It's not life changing or particularly deep, and I think I love it for all the same reasons I love me some fanfiction on the occasion. -It's a bit of an insta-love, but with a decent amount of angst thrown in to balance things out. -It's not too long, but not too short. -The characters are generally pretty lovable, even if you kind of want to throttle Kelsey sometimes. As a best friend she was pretty pushy, but her heart was in the right place. -It wraps up nicely in the epilogue, not entirely closing off the story but offering enough to satisfy a reader. It was everything I wanted in a romance, and only took me a day to read. I'll probably be giving the companion novels a go sometime soon.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Romance ! I loved this book, such a great concept. It was very light and easy to read. Throughout the book you do not get bored and you cannot help but read it in one sitting, it was just that addictive. I liked Bliss a lot, she has clear thoughts, knows what she wants, does not get easily influenced by others and she has a mind of her own which is fantastic. She was not in any way annoying I just loved her and could easily relate to her. Garrick was a sexy, charming, british man who is totally infatuated with Bliss. Cora Carmack did an awesome job with this novel, I am sold, love the way she writes, she keeps you engaged throughout the whole book.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from 4.5 stars, A Fantastic New Romance Losing It was a great novel with a fun and light concept, Bliss Edwards is a twenty two year old collage student and she feels like she is the last person to own her "V-Card" so Bliss and her friend Kelsey go on the hunt to find Bliss a guy and things don't turn out the way they should. Not only that but he turns out to be her new professor for her acting class. I thought this book was great it had a really fun concept and characters, I was never bored reading this book and almost read the whole thing in one sitting. I thought Bliss was a great character I didn't find her annoying at all and I thought for the most part she had clear thoughts on what she wanted. Garrick was a fantastic character, not only is he the swoon worthy character everybody loves but he gets extra points for being British. Overall this book was fantastic it was light and fun and the perfect Spring read, I would highly recommend this to anyone that enjoys New Adult or Contemporary Romance.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Romance at its Best! I knew I had to read this book from the first moment I saw the cover when I participated in the cover reveal. Cora Carmack is a great author because this plot will grab your attention from beginning to end! It was a whirlwind of a read because I finished it soo quickly because it was a great read. I am also starting to love how Young Adult is branching off to college setting because its a different part of life in books that many people go through and can relate too. . Plus who else couldnt resist Carrick and Bliss' romance! Losing It begins with Bliss and her best friend getting ready for a night out so bliss can lose her virginity. Once we get to the particular place we meet the HOT Garrick, who is also British!!! I instanly fell in love with him! With similar interests as Bliss, about theatre etc. Once we find out that her one night with Garrick, who later in the book sweeps her off her feet literay with his motorcycle which this romance and story will make you hooked to Losing It. The chemistry between them was steamy. I really loved this book and the characters kept me turning the pages! The characters were very interesting and Bliss was a very open character who loved to act but at the same time falls in love with the surprise relationship with Garrick. the ending was by far one of my favorites because I had a feeling it would bring me a smile on my face, now I need to re-read this book because of Garrick Check out this book because its AMAZING, romantic and very full of chemistry between the two. This book will capture your heart at the same time making you think of falling in love with both characters. It was funny and had steamy scenes! I am looking forward to the next book Cora comes out with!!
